Plasti Dipped the wheels, badges, and grille

I blacked out the grille, badges, and wheels with Plasti Dip. The badges turned out pretty crappy after 2 attempts, so I might just remove them completely. The wheels need a little touching up, but overall I like the look. I may do something a little more permanent later, but for now I just wanted to see how I liked it blacked out.

If I do pull the badges off, does anyone know how to remove the Toyota emblem from the liftgate handle? I would like to pull it off, paint it, and put it back on.

I actually plasti-dipped my whole rear hatch chrome piece and cut around the Toyota logo w/ an razor knife and peeled that off so it is a chrome logo on black, it looks pretty good.

Yep, that's what I'm going for. I like the contrast, sort of the opposite of black and chrome that you see so much of.

I'm planning to get it tinted this spring. How do I go about blacking out the head lights? I agree that the head lights look too "shiny" now.

Get a piece of floss and just get it under a section of the back emblem with your fingers. Use floss for all of the emblems actually. Just be sure you get really strong good floss because the cheap crap I got broke constantly.
