Please help! I don't understand tires?

I have a 2006 limited 4wd with factory 18's.

I ordered a set of 285/65/18's for my 4th gen. I thought I would go up two sizes. (265 to 285). I have a ome lift with a top out spacer going on thur. It's now my understanding that the first number has something to do with the height but also the second number does too? I didn't see any other sizes other than 65 for the bfg's a/t. I wasn't looking for a super fat tire, but there isn't a way to go taller (275/70/18) in bfg's???

Any help on this issue would be great. P.s.- I've got 1.25 wheel spacers.

First number is width. Second number is height as a percentage of that width. So, yeah, if the tire gets wider and the 2nd number stays the same, the tire is also taller.

285/65/18 is a 33 inch tire.
