Kinda apples/oranges. The new models have really stepped up the interior. OTOH they're always about half a production series behind Lexus. I wish Lexus would at least consider adding a little more power though. A twin turbo GR should be good for 450hp pretty easily. Not in Lexus' DNA though.
I'm not a huge fan of the stand alone screen up on the dash, but that's where everyone is going.

Then again this is probably the last production series that doesn't drive themselves, so the future interiors are going to all look a lot different. Probably drop the cluster all together like the model 3.

I actually have... fast? sure but Cheby is junk and Porsche is overrated.... was being funny but I guess my mind is to simple to see the worth in either vehicle. Sorry for hurting your feelings....

Nice Station Wagon...j/k They are incredible bargains off lease. There are many people in the auto enthusiast world that pick these up as a daily driver to go with their fun car. Looks like that is what the OP did, nice! (Find some OEM silver wheels with colored Porsche crests to class it up, JMHO)

Nice vehicle. I cannot say this too many times. There are no cheap Porsche's.
Sure there are some well priced ones, but cheap is not one term that I use often. If you can wrench fairly well it will help. They are surprisingly easy to work on and you will get to see their engineering first hand.
Labor is about the same price as other high end vehicles, its the parts that will get you.
One thing is certain. They are in there own category.

Unfortunately, Lexus doesn't have a sporty unibody RWD-biased architecture that could handle that much power. They could easily base if off the GS, IS or the new GA-L platform that underpins the LC 500 (and all forthcoming RWD products), but it hasn't happened yet.
450hp would be a bit of a terror in what is essentially a FWD Camry platform, even with AWD.

That's very true. I really wish they'd build an SUV on the GS/IS awd system. It is good - very good. I had an IS250 AWD. It wasn't super powerful - my wife doesn't care, but it did incredibly well in snow. Better in almost every way than our RX350 other than ground clearance. Always fun to drive up the hills that our friends x5 wouldn't make. Of course tires make a big difference. And it would give an actual 32-34mpg on the highway. City was more like 26 though. The odd part about it is that Toyota basically doesn't even advertise the awd system for them or anything about the internals of the transfer case, but it's the best of any rear drive awd system I've driven. IMO it's as good as subaru in the snow, but it feels like a rwd most of the time.
I do think it's absolutely ridiculous that Toyota has an IS300 with the exact same engine as the IS350, but cuts power at about 4,000rpms and sells it as a lesser model. The only difference is ECU.

450 would be far fetched for a Toyota SUV. 350-375 hp would be optimal, but would need to achieve 25 & up MPG's as well. I only see this done with a smaller liter engine and turbo charged. A unibody chassis will be the next gen 4R. I hope they do it right to keep strength and ground clearance. But it should shed some weight and increase handling to help with performance and fuel economy.

I actually went the other direction in a sense, I had a 2013 VW Touareg TDI (same platform as the Cayenne) that I sold to get my 4Runner. The power on the VW diesel was very hard to let go, definitely noticed the ~130 lb-ft of lost torque and the AWD system in the VW was absolutely phenomenal in the snow/ice. The VW was also built like a vault, everything about it felt, looked, and sounded high quality and there are a ton of little engineering touches that really make it a nice package. The main motivation for my switch was I looking for more reliability over the next 5-8 years and I had too many concerns over the repair costs on the Touareg once it was out of warranty (though you don't have to worry about the garbage DEF injection system on yours). Enjoy that thing!
You traded from an extremely off road capable, dependable, high utility, no nonsense BOF SUV for a douche drive-like-an-ahole from a stop light for 1000 yards before you hit the next light and jam on the brakes, soccer mom, wine-bar mobile that you will tire of in 3 years and trade for another one at a huge depreciation hit.
But by god, you have a SUV with a Porsche logo and you can drive like a crazy f*ck on the public streets.
I see dozens of em' here in Scottsdale....everyone I see driving them fits the Snottsdale profile.

They already had one option over 500hp - the LC200 with the TRD supercharger was 504hp/550ftlbs. Not sure if we'd see it again though. Surely not in a 4runner. The drive train is way too small for that kind of power. I doubt we'll see a unibody 4runner. At least not in the next generation. Toyota already does that and calls it a highlander. The 150 platform is shared all over the world for about 500,000 vehicles per year, and 90% of the buyers wouldn't consider a unibody because they intend them to be used for utility. If Toyota gives up on the offroad thing and goes the way of Land Rover to unibody crossovers I think they'd just drop the 4runner and make a sport package for the Highlander.
The problem with the current suv lineup is that none of them are really designed for sporty performance. The LC200 is a truck with some extra seats, and the Highlander/RX/Rav is a front wheel drive car with big tires. The IS/GS AWD system is robust and a good fit, but it's not yet put into any type of SUV.

I would never buy a new Porsche...this is a low mile 2011 38000 miles that was well taken care of. As for Arizona, my ex was from Tucson. Arizonans are Aholes! I agree with you! :focus:
Enjoy the Cayenne, but do get the triple square XZN tool, I believe 10mm off Amazon, may need it to access the battery, good insurance for under $10.
