I had never heard of Nash till I bought it, it's built like a tank, larger water tanks than most brands it's size. It also weighs a lot more for its size when you compare it to other brands. It does tow nice, our previous 15 footer was single axle and the second axle keeps it tracking straight, as well having brakes on all 4 wheels is awesome, it feels like we can stop better towing the trailer than without.

she's a beauty allright.. I think i looked at Jayco's that were probally in the same class.. might have been a tad larger... but since it's just me i really dont need to go too much bigger...
Maybe next summer... I have a popup now which works for now... I like the idea of tandem axles.. i'll bet the heavier weight might help in it's trailering..

You guys are pretty observant! We did carry allot of stuff I pulled the camper and my Buddy pulled the atv trailer with enough stuff to last through the upcoming hunting season it should be pretty comfy. And yes There are two treestands there including one summit razor, it is my favorite for archery which starts early in September. This is my first year on this Lease property (1525 acres) and we want to give ourselves plenty of time to scout it out. It is really beautiful piece of managed land that we can camp on year round. There is no rock climbing or anything and the logging roads are big enough for my 4runner but you still need 4wd. I still have my stock tires but that needs to Change soon i was thinking that I like the Looks of the stock size duratracs. What do y'all think?

The DuraTrac is a great tire! I just got back from an 800 mile trip out to PA and back to wheel with some other members and my DuraTrac's were awesome both off road and cruising at 75 on the highway though mileage wasn't that great. If you ask me I'd highly recommend them! :thumb3: Also just saw some Nitto Terra Grapplers for sale in the sell/want thread, you might get a good deal on those and they are about half the price of the DuraTrac.
On second thought...screw the Nitto's definitely get the DuraTrac's!!:boink: :roadkill:

i'm still bassfishing and riding my jetski!! and besides waaay too many "dad gum" ticks here. still 1200 acres aint nothing to sneeze at! dang thats a lotta land...
you guys have sold me on the Duratracs i cant wait to get em on my 3Gen... i'm replacing my wheels too.. problem is that i dont know whether i want 16's or 17"s more wheel choices in 17 but 16 are supposed to be less expensive..

now.... the rims i will decide on my own.. does anyone have any input on rim size? have 16's now.... like 17's but i think 18' smight look pretty cool.. keep in mind that this is not a street queen nor will i be steering wheel deep in mud.. just looking for COMFY BALANCE.. sadly, i want C rated tire... i'm not sure if the duras come in a C. running a E now and hate it...

I hate to say this now but after considering all the factors of cost, will never see snow, (live in florida) durability and availability I went with bfg's. I've had them before on a taco and I really liked them. I got them in stock size 265/70/17 load range c and they are a major improvement in the ride. I'll be putting them to the test tomorrow in the sand, but I'm sure I'll be happy with them. Thanks for the input

Look for a Duratrac in D, that is what my 285s are. Mine ride great at 35psi, too soft for me. I have them at 40psi right now and they feel great. I normally run 45-50, which gets a bit stiff like a E. Duratracs are well worth the money, pound for pound the best mod I have done.
We've got a 2001 12' pop up that weighs around 3K and paid $3,600 for it. It tows just OK with the 2000 6 cyl 4Runner, but will be installing the transmission cooler before too long a it gets way too hot where we live and camp. I really wanted a 10', but those are hard to find. You really have to jump on them quickly when you run across one. I think the lighter weight and length would make for a better tow experience. I LOVE the pop up, though, and I don't believe I'll ever go to a hard side. I will still camp out of the 4Runner when I camp alone, however. the pup is more for our family trips. It sleeps 8 so we can invite friends and family to join us when we go out.

dude, you have one of the Best p/u's that coleman ever put out just make sure that the roof did not crack and leak.
I think that was one of the best trailers.
my viking tows "just ok too" I have a transmission cooler that toyota installed about 2 months after i drove it off of the lot.. I call it added insurance. it was cheap too

I would and did. I would rather have extra available (load) than not enough. You would be surprised how quickly weight adds up when you start loading up camping gear.
