2015 TE King Shocks

Finally have all the parts installed. Now it is time to go and get it dirty. I have the front Coilovers set at 7 turns. Hopefully the back will settle down a little over time. If your looking for king shocks, Tony @ Tustin Toyota gave me a great deal on everything.

Did you have to cut a ton of plastic with your lift. I am looking to lift my 2014 TPE, but I am worried about cutting plastic.

sam, I only had to cut the driver side back about 1/2" on the bottom. Took a dremel tool about 1 minute to complete the job. I installed the tires and wheels before I had the lift to see what would rub. I figured this would give a good indication of tire rub at almost full compression.

OMG! With all the new designations (SR5, SR5P, TE, TEP, LE, LEP(?), TRDPRO), what in the wide wide world of sports is a TPE? Is that a Trail Par Excellence?

whelp I tossed ideas around for a lift since I bought her in june and decided to go with a spacer lift for now. Having a 10 month old and taking grad classes requires making frugal choices I guess. I also had to accept that the only things I'm usually crawling over are mall curbs and grocery carts right now. Anyway here she is 2012 sr5 16k miles.

How does making fun of a typo benefit anyone? Hope it made you feel wonderful. Great job on making me never want to ask a question again.

I don't think he was being serious. He's actually one of the few in the 5th Gen forum that isn't a dick.

It was a joke Sam. Maybe a bad one, but a joke nonetheless. Hence the hiding behind the couch smiley. If that little something is all it takes to offend you I fear for your continued participation. I would apologize but I didn't do anything to apologize for....... :wink2:

Welcome to the internet and the 5th gen section. Too bad Stifler isn't here anymore. He was our "hurt feelings fixer."
