Post your LIFTED pix here!

Looks really good! Lift specs?

Also curious on what issues you had and the solutions for running a 12.5" wide tire.

Qjake, I'm not having any issues with the tires rubbing. The plastic in the fender well definitely has to be trimmed a bit to fit the tire but it's unnoticeable. The shop I used was great and they checked the tires for rubbing on level ground and also while the suspension is compressed so no issues so far!

Lift is ReadyLift SST 2 1/2" rear and 3" front. I don't do any wheeling offroad and if I ever do it would basically be some mild trails and maybe a little mud so I couldn't justify a really expensive full suspension lift like OME or ICON. The $450 kit I used fits my needs.

I was just in Stuart this past weekend, would have loved to seen this in person... looks real good! What shop did the install for you?

Stifler,

Extreme Performance in Palm City did the job. Great shop that works on lots of really high end cars and trucks and they can fabricate anything.

Spend just a little more money than you were thinking and stay away from the OME. I had an OME setup on my Tacoma and have nothing but regrets. Handled well but lots of uneven sag issues.

Looks good! How do you like the ride with the Daystar? Did you need the UCAs to get your truck back into alignment? I too am researching some less expensive lift options for my DD to fit 285s...

Thanks FatTires,
Rides like stock, love it! What Daystar doesn't tell you is that when you lift the front;
  • Factory UCA will hit spring when suspention is fully extended
  • Factroy balljoint will bind when suspention is fully extended
  • Caster adjustment will max out at 0 degrees
LR UCA's don't hit springs, balljoint allows more angle without binding (and is adjustable), current alignment is +4 caster. Easy to install, took me 2 hours to do both sides.

Rear lift was easy with no issues.

Progress! New Method MR301s: 17x8.5, 4.75" BS, 0 offset. I love these wheels! They are perfectly flush with the mud-guards and look great. The +1.5" width makes the 275s look pretty good.....still leaning toward upsizing to 285s though. Bigger is always better, right

Looks good KC :bigok:, I was torn between black or polished ring, went with the polished ring as mine is silver and figured I could always get the ring podwer coated if I wanted to change it up.

Wheels look great KC! I've been toying with either these, the six shooters, and the X's. 285s would definitely look great on there!
Wow. That would be a tough choice....all great wheels. I liked the silver accents on the MRs to coordinate with the SR5s chrome.

We have different opinions haha. The silver bolts of the 301s are what I'm not so sure about. I don't think they look bad, but I have NO chrome left on my TE. I just feel it might look a little out of place. I wish they made the 301s without the bolts all together and that would for sure make my decision alot harder.

My biggest deciding factor is going to most likely come down to weight of the rim.

You don't happen to have a weight of the rim do you?

I see what you're saying about the silver/ bolts on a TE. I guess you could go with one of their race wheels. I think they come unfinished:

They're a little pricier, but I think the X's are too, aren't they?

Sorry, no weight on the 301's, but looks like the weights on the race wheels are listed. If you really want to know weights on the 301s just email Method. They are very quick to answer any questions.
