I have been waiting for a month to be able to post in here! This is my 2014 TEP, I put the ToyTec spring leveling kit on it due to not having the money ready for the Boss kit(I have no patience) It also added a set of 285/70/17 Nitto Terra Grappler G2's. I'm loving the stance. The only Pics I have at the moment is from me stopping by the dealer. More pics to follow.

Toytec BOSS Lift Kit, 3" with SPC UCAs, 285/70/17s and no rubbing.

Just watch out with you cv axles if your over 3" up front. You will be replacing cv axles sooner than later if more than 3" up front.

Anyone else have an issue with leveling the front pass side with drivers side with this BOSS kit? The coilovers initially put it up about 4 inches (after settling). The rear coils raised the truck up 3" in the rear (was supposed to be 2"?)

Yes I had to adjust one side on the front. I also have a squeaking noise that makes my 2013 4R Limited sound like a old Farm truck.

Here are some more photos I took of my recent lift.
The rear is stock, but I upgraded the rear shocks to 5100s too.
I went with with Toyos 285/ AT/II LT Versions.

Overall, I am happy with everything. It rides a little stiffer and you get dinged about 1-2 MPG. However, it looks a lot better and the upgraded tires make a huge difference in the dirt and overall handling. I went for a quick drive to Ocotillo Wells over the weekend (live in Ramona, CA) and I had no problems in the sand or going up some steep hills. I even was able to try out rock crawl mode for a hill I was having troubles getting up. I have owned 4wd trucks in the past and I am really impressed with the way this vehicle performs. I feel it would take a lot to get this vehicle stuck. Now I wish i would have got some UCAs and a coil-over set up! I will wait a bit :wacko:

My next upgrade will be Budbuilt sliders. Do you guys recommend the beefy versions? I was debating getting exhaust, but I am not sure if it is really worth $500+

I am getting married, so I need to see how much damage to my bank account occurs first...(Actually, I probably should spend my extra cash now!).

2014 SR5 Pre Install Lift Question

I purchased (4) Bilstein 5100's and a diff drop kit from Toytec and will be setting them at the highest setting up front for max lift and have 1.5" Daystar spacers and Firestone airbags for the rear. The question I have before I get started is... am I leaving anything out??? Basically a street rig with light off road action that I want to be level and not have any geometry or alignment issues.

I finally found time to put my "suspension" on. 5100s all around, the fronts are set to the highest setting with the stock springs, and I have the SAW springs in the rear.

its a prototype, my agreement wasn't to disclose the price - but being that it was a kit, it was reasonably priced. that said, i wish i would have just bit the bullet and got the ARB that i wanted. i feared that it would be too big but i saw one in person and its not bad. i think in the future i'll be selling this 4x4 labs if i can find someone to buy it and pick up the ARB

Dude, that comment makes me lean towards an ARB more and more. I haven't seen one in person and I'm pretty sure the pics on the net are skewed...they typically are.

I saw the ARB up close and personal and I tell ya it is nice! Having run ARB on my Jeeps I def give it a thumbs up for quality and fitment

Umm your crazy right? If you wanted an ARB bumper, then that is what you should of bought. IMO the 4X4Labs one is sick and it compliments your rig and the 5th gen very well. The only thing I would prefer is hoops on it, but it seems Luke does not offer them for the 5th gen and it may not look right anyway with the design. Just wanted you to know the bumper and rig looks sweet!
