Umm your crazy right? If you wanted an ARB bumper, then that is what you should of bought. IMO the 4X4Labs one is sick and it compliments your rig and the 5th gen very well. The only thing I would prefer is hoops on it, but it seems Luke does not offer them for the 5th gen and it may not look right anyway with the design. Just wanted you to know the bumper and rig looks sweet!

maybe a little crazy. i just really like the look of the ARB, its timeless. the 4x4labs just feels busy, even though its minimal. i will say its the lightest bumper out there at just a tad over 100 lbs. luke showed me picture of one with hoops on it, and it just didn't look right. the lines felt weird with all the different angles that the bumper has on it already, and as well, the bumper is flush with the front end, hoops would have to extend out then wrap up. it looks its best without anything IMO



i couldn't do crazy stuff like this with an ARB though

marshal - can you show how you secured your Maxtrax to the roof rack?

used the maxtrax mounting studs, drilled through the aluminum cross bars and bolted them in. not the greatest solution, but it worked well was quiet and didn't affect my milage that i could tell. its a pain in the ass when you need them as you have to jungle gym yourself on the vehicle to get to them

Thanks! I have the ready lift 3/2" kit but I replaced the 2" rear spacer with daystar 1.5" spacer. I did this because I had a very noticeable vibration. Swapping out to the spacers caused the vibration to go away. I may put the 2" back in cause I would like more rake right now I have roughly 1" rake, and hoping the larger tires may help with the vibration? The front actually only came out to 2.75" of lift. I have 5100's in the back because my stock shocks topped out over every little bump.

I have been watching a for a long time and here is my addition.

Toytec springs all round with 5100's. Front is set at lowest level seeing I got quite a bit of lift from the 620 Eibach springs, rear has the Superflex. Rides much better now, I just got the tires a few months ago, so going to run on these for a while before I get something a little beefier.

I was also looking at rims, but based on the cost and not 100% sure how long I am going to have this 2010 seeing I am looking at getting a newer model in approx 1 year.

Finally finished installing my lift and new tires. Nfab rock sliders are ordered. Not sure what is next. Thinking about a magnaflow muffler and maybe a cold air intake...

With the setup I'm running there was a little rubbing that was cured with the inner fender mod. I have had the lift on for over 2 years now with no problems. The LR upper control arms are another story. Replaced the bushings already and I also believe that I have a bad ball joint now. If I could change anything I would purchase different upper control arms and instead of the Shrockworks Trail Edition Rocker Trim I would look into using the trim from the 14 up 4runner.

They are the 1.25" spacers.
