Finally can post to this thread

Had my lift installed earlier in the week and absoultely love it. Still debating on adusting the front coilovers to reduce some rake. Thanks to all who have provided me with information to make this happen. I originally had Bilsteins set at 0.85 with stock size P rated Cooper AT3's. I now have the following:
Front: Toytec adjustable coilovers with Bilsteins set at 0
Rear: SAW 1.5 coils
Camburg UCA's with Moog ball joints
285/70/17 Dick Cepek Fun Country

This is a pic at the alignment shop after installing the TRD PRO Suspension Kit. Obviously a 1.5 lift in the front isn't dramatic, but it looks decent.

I wanted to keep my 4Runner very stock looking but with a new suspension. I'm just not a big fan of aftermarket wheels, permanent roof racks, etc. I went with an Icon stage 2 and 285 Toyo Open Country AT2 tires on the stock trail wheels. When needed, I can put a Yakima rack up top, but that stays in the garage when not in use.

Just picked up my '14 SR5. Dealer told me something about a liftkit with blocks. $900 installed. Good idea? Any downsides? I basically just want the look of the '15 TRD Pro. Just the front end needs lifting and not the back correct?

$220 for a pair of billstein 5100's that you can adjust to level your runner if that's all you want.

That's a huge waste of money. You need to spend a lot more time reading on here before you drop $900 to lift your truck with a $130 lift kit...

Like thebwlife said, $900 is a scam for some simple spacers. If you want the TRD Pro look go for some 1.5 inch spacers in the front to basically level out your ride, get an alignment and you're good to go. Lol if you actually wanted TRD Pro suspension it would only be 300 more bucks (uninstalled) and a million times better ride than blocks :doh:
