thanks man! yea thats kind of what I was thinking - when you compare the tiny oem shocks to the 2.5" Icons there is a huge difference... I'll probably add a sway away 1.5" spring to take the load off the shock...

but i really dont want it to be any higher than it is now! it rides so much more confident than it did on oem shocks...

Still tinkering with the 10 way clicker valves... doesn't seem to make that much of a difference but its nice to have i guess! This thing takes corners even better with KDSS than it did before. really happy!

Debating on throwing on some nitto trail grapplers on the oem rims but not sure if i really need it since its 99% daily driver... even though they look mean as hell!

Finally got my lift delivered and installed thanks to a TW member/neighbor. Wasn't too difficult, except for putting the front KDSS back on. AT 24 inches all around right now, hoping the front settles down at least half an inch.

That front sure is high. Mine was 22" up from 19.5" and 25" in the rear up from 22". Are you adjusted in the front all the way? How many thread are showing?

It's a bit high, the instructions say 2 inches of thread is 3 inches of lift, we did 1.5 inches of thread and I got 4 inches of lift. I am going to turn it down a little tomorrow because it's pouring right now. I also have a ton of positive camber, adjusting that should raise the spindle/uca and account for some of the height.

I have those exact springs i can sell you if you want. I took them off because it lifted to high. There would be the same load on the shocks with either spring, not gunna hurt anything. I am running the Icon omegas in the rear with stock springs and I love the ride. nice soft ride but can be adjusted to dampen anything. If you like the ride hight leave it, I did.

I have the same shocks on the front as you and the "clicker valves" work very well, huge difference from 1 to 10. #4 is there standard valving I change mine all the time but I am running at 7 now. Turn these things to 10 and hit some desert roads and you'll be super impressed.

Hell ya throw some Nitto TG's on there! you won't regret it. I ran 295/70-17 TG's for a really long time, they're great tires. You can run that same size if you don't add wheel spacers. If you want to add spacers you will need to do a body mount chop and some trimming. I wouldn't go any smaller than a 285/70-17. Tires will change the whole look dude, do it for sure.......

My picture album deal has old pics of my 2011 with the 295's w/o the wheel spacers

hell yea man the trail grapplers are sick! I want to get rims that don't require spacers or anything... looking at the method Mesh 17x8.5 but not sure of what the backspacing / offset to get.

And yea i think the truck is sitting high enough but not sure if it would be enough to cram a 285/70/17 in there?

All the Method 17"x8.5" wheels come is 0 offset. Method's are a great wheel and the backspacing fits the T4R's great. The 285's would definitely fit, I have the same shocks up front and I am running 34's. What part of SoCal??? If you buy the Tires/Wheels from the right shop they'll make em fit perfect. I know 285/70's will fit, it's like the most popular tire size on this forum. If you search you can find a ton of 4Runners running Method's w/ 285's. Trust me if you go smaller you'll wish you went bigger............

I'm in west LA - trying to save up to get tires and wheels even tho its not a need to have more of a want to have haha need to sell my old pathfinder to fund the 4R mods :D
