I was looking into a similar set up. What do you think of the ride? On and off road?

The ride on the road with the 600# springs is just perfect. It honestly feels like a BMW 3 series as far as firmness (I split my commute with a friend who owns one). It soaks up the big bumps no problem.

The primary areas the suspension addressed were the deep "diving" under braking and the serious body roll. They have both been corrected to an acceptable level for me. I cannot speak to its off road prowess yet. It is currently still a mall crawler.

Does anyone else notice this - if you stop at a light and then let off the brake and stop again - the whole cab kind of rocks forwards & backwards ever so slightly. not really that big of a deal but im wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

No, just added the 5100's to the rear.

what lift are you using?

Bilstein 5100's set to .85" in frint, 5100's in rear with stock springs. Much improved rude and significantly reduced nose dive, which is what I was after originally. Now I've got the bug for the Icon Stage II setup. Maybe later this year....Rigid light bars are the next addition.

While my 4Runnner isn't lifted per se, it is leveled and does have a much nicer suspension on it. My version of a TRD Pro.

I like how you stuck with the stock-like silver finished wheels. Great look, I like it. I've been leaning towards something like this on my next go around. Subtle but there.

This is the toytec FJ3 lift kit on my 2015. Advertised as 2.5" front lift and leveling. My measurements got 2 1/4" in the front and 2" up in the rear at the middle of the wheel wells. Sitting on 285/70/17. Still have about 1 3/4" of rake.

Great so far. Tiny bit stiffer but nothing terrible. So little that if no one told me they swapped the suspension, I probably wouldn't notice.

I think this is my new favorite wheel, they look awesome in the matte black. Might need to re think my next set of wheels when I am ready to buy ones in the correct offset and size.

Ya love what Vin does over there at SCS, had the f5's on my tacoma in gunmetal and they looked great, almost went with gunmetal on my runner but decided on matte black, so glad I did loved the way it turned out
