I'm curious as to any of you guys have installed a differential drop when you did your lift? I've searched and havent found much information on it. I know toytec reccomends it and all my friends you have icon systems on their tacomas recommend it.

I would highly recommend a diff drop for a 2+ lift. Unless you like changing CV boots?
But you can check. If you see any of your CV boot fins touching and causing a grove in the next fold then definitely get the diff drop kit!
Most likely it will be the inner boot near the differential.

Went to KMCs website, they have a "configurator" with the 4Runner and i set it up with some XD series grenades and what I believe to be Nitto Trail Grapplers. Pretty cool tool for estimating what KMC wheels will look like on a 4R. It also has options for a stock height, leveled or 3 inch lift, i believe this picture is the 3" lift.

Finally, my 4runner looks badass. I had a toytec ultimate lift kit w/ SPC UCA's installed at Mumbly's offroad (Fraser, MI - Great shop if you're looking in the area). The UCA's are set at +4 caster. I also had SCS ray 10 wheels w/ 285 BFG ko2's installed. I have spidertraxx 1.25 wheel spacers too. I removed the mud flaps on the front and it's still rubbing a little

Hi man yes it really looks BADASS ! My kinda truck. Rubbing is good ! lol

It must be the wheels because I had the rubbers and I had no rubbing at all.
Easy fix, so good luck

Yes install them. Keeps CV axles lower and the boots from going out

Does anyone know how to add garage images and change your signature?
Trying to update my old information, I have a ton of pics and parts updates I want to add on here.

My mileage is no where near 22 anymore, averaging around 17.7 manual calculation and 18.1 on the dash MPG with the Mickey Thompson Baja Radial MTZ 285/70/17


Loving the new Runners with lifts, makes my 2011 feel so old.
