Lifted with Fuel Throttle Wheels

Finally done... Well almost, but a good way there!

This is with OME 884/895E springs (3" in front and 2" rear), Bilstein shocks, Fuel 17x9 Throttle Wheels and Nitto Terra 285/70/17. No rubbing with the front fender lining moved forward about an inch. VERY HAPPY. It finally looks like an all terrain vechile, not a station wagon. I knew it could do it!

Hey LB, thanks for the compliment. The rockers werent too hard once I knew what I was doing. They are a few push tabs, screws and bolts. Once you get under there it is pretty obviuos. The ones that confused me were the screws that you see when you open the doors by the kickplates. I had to run back here for help and was told of those which I never even noticed before. Im gonna try trimming my rockers tho and see how that looks. I like the truck without them but it does leave it a bit unfinished esp when the doors are open.

your 4runner is SICK!! so how did you black out the back emblems?? did you actually pull them off or did you tape them up while they were on your car and paint them? because as far as i am concerned they are stuck with adhesive and im guessing it would be hard to align the 4runner sign straight??

Actually Nice. The tires are quiet as stock (for now). I can feel the larger side wall in the steering, that's about the only negative at this time. Even MPG is still doing good, 19.2 .

I love the look and ride is better then stock so I don't know what else I could ask for.

Springs from Wheelers, would have also got the shocks from them but they just could not seem to get them in... Waited over a month and still could do get an arrival date. I don't blame them, they can only get information from their suppliers...

Shocks from Shockwarehouse. Good prices and super fast delievery.

Wheels from Rimzoneonline. Best price I could find on Fuel wheels (free shipping and lugs!) Excellent customer service.

Tires from discounttiredirect. Good price AND free shipping. Always have had great service from these guys.

Install was $750 (with alignment) and tires mounted/balanced (with sensor change over) was $120.

I did a ton of research on this before I ordered. I asked questions of vendors, asked forum members, and searched to find best prices. I have zero rubbing (which was a concern) and it handles nice. All in all things went well!

These 4r's are looking great! I am trying to figure out what lift I am going to put on ours. I was thinking the simple toytec 2 1/2" or 3" front with the rear 2" coil spring

Thank you, she is getting there. I just taped and shrouded everything and went at it with a can of Krylon Fusion. You can remove it but its not that hard to do it with it on the truck. Just use patience when taping so you dont get overspray where you dont want it.
