This pretty much settles it for me. I've been trying to decide between the LX 450 coils and a set of 7.5/8 wraps.

I'm going with the LX coils in the rear with Rancho shocks (for now) that I got when I bought a different set of coils.
Toytec/Eibach 3 inch coils in front on tundra 5100 second perch.

Now, to just get all of that under the rig.

Tundra's up front, LC 8.25 in the back

Tundra's in the front & LC 8 wraps in the back with Billy 5100's at all corners.

Might want to edit posts and mention which notch the fronts are one, assuming you both have Tundra 5100s.

i currently have 890s but i added a bumper and a rtt and now i'm back to the rear sag

Sorry that I didn't answer sooner but I have between 1" and 1.25" of rake. It's hardly noticeable. That is why I went with the LX 450 coils: to avoid too much rake.

Ok, so for the rear with lc spring 7.5 wrap. I need tundra rear shocks or lc rear shocks? My current setup is ome890 with Tacoma shocks (shitty setup)

Thinking about swapping my Superflex/5100's for LC coils and LC Tokico blacks. Trying to get solid info here is tough.
Supposedly, the Superflex is about 3.75" lift. It sits about perfect right now, but I'm planning on having a plate bumper eventually. I wouldn't mind a little more rake while I'm running the stock bumper.
A few questions-
1- Can the OEM LC front coils still be bought new?
2- Which coils does Sonoran Steel use in his 1.2 kit?
3- How many different LC coils are there? In a couple pages, I've seen:

LX 8.25/8.5

If I remember right, my rear is 24"- on the nose- axle center to bottom of fender.

I have a Toytec/Eibach coilover front 3" lift with Bilstein 5125 rear shocks ordered. I already have a pair of LX450 8+ wrap coils for the rear ready to install with it. This thread has been super helpful for me trying to figure out what kind of tire I believe I can fit. Going to try a 285/75/16. I also have front and rear 4xInnovations bumpers on order with a tire carrier and am interested to see what my net lift is with the added weight.

I lucked up on the LX coils. A local guy that is part of a LC group had them from another project and sold them to me for $50 for the pair.

I'll update with pics after I get it installed.

Good chance I'll forget, if you don't hear back by EOD today, shoot me a PM.

I love the way it rides all around, granted, I've been driving it almost a year stock with one completely blown out rear shock so anything is a major improvement. To me, it rides like a modern stock truck, firm where it needs to be but nicely soaks up bumps.

Whats it look like on level ground? And what do you have up front?

After winch she dropped some up front. This was a budget build do went cheaper up front. So it's got some rake. Just cleaned phone out of pics. This is only level shot I have at moment.

Not a common problem on here. Could be coming from your pinion angle but usually that's not an issue with these rigs. Try greasing all of you zerks.

I got some 9 wraps in the rear.. a little too agressive for my taste but could never find the 7 or 8 wraps (impatient). With the 9 wraps, I feel like I'll snap the rear sway bar end links in full droop.. kinda scary.

I had the superflex coils. And Toytec should be held responsible for giving false info. From my experience the coils did not sit at 3" with 400lbs. I had less then that. and I had driver side lean !!! Even though it states it eliminates. Switched to ome

Mine actually sat exactly where ToyTec advertised with no weight. And mine sits 100% level as well.
When I just lowered mine back to stock height, I used 5th gen(2014) rear coils, and it eliminated the sag, and gave a MUCH better ride. Now, when I say a much better ride(and eliminate sag), I'm comparing the '14 coils to stock '01 coils. Which basically ride on the center bump stops, and are about worthless.
What I've been thinking about recently, is if the 5th gen Superflex coils would actually be a good fit for 3rd gens with more rear weight. Something between the soft 3rd gen Superflex and the high/very firm 861. Just a thought.
