I know we have a 3rd gen picture thread, but i figured it would be cool to post pictures of locations we hit around Socal close to us here.

Anyways im new to the community and took my runner our for its first adventure with me this past rainy weekend.

went up 1S12 to Morton peak and continued on 1N12 and cruised around.

hopefully will go Clarkes grade next weekend and drag the wife and kids along.

ill browse my pictures and see if i do, the fire was actually North east of this location quite a bit aways near jenks lake.

You should check out 2n49 its really close as well
And takes you to many different trails along silverwood lake

From Big Pine Flats campground, take dirt road 3N14 to 3N17. The White Mountain trail is 6 miles long and will offer some challenging climbs, like Suicide Hill. This hill gets its name from an unfortunate Jeep fatality and intense terrain climb. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart. If you’re not up for the hill climbs, there are by-pass roads.

Are the by-pass roads OK for us stockers??

How technical is this road? That looks fairly simple, but does it get harder?

Weelll..! Alot of it depends upon which direction you're traveling. East->West piece o cake. It's a blue square. West->East it's a quite a bit tougher. Its rated a black diamond by FS. Especially once u pass East of the 3N11 connector. Suicide Hill ain't all that bad Bob, just airdown to about 15psi and have a good rear locker. The bypass routes are easy for a stocker. I'm actually up here in GVL enjoying the next 3 days(28,29,30).
