Pre-05 hood on a 2008?

Hi Guys,

I have an 08 SR5. A local salvage yard has an 04 sport hood with scoop in the same color (1D4). What exactly is involved in swapping? I know I'd need a grill from 04 but would my headlights and everything else still work?

Uhh, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but all hoods for 4th gens are interchangeable from what I've heard.

I want to confirm yes. It's when you want to change the grilles/lights/bumper is when you run into fitment issues. Again, I could be wrong..........................
