preparing a fed 3.4 to swap into a calif 99

Hi, i have looked but can't find anything specific to switching out a calif 3.4 for a fed 3.4. I purchased this from CA and now live in Oregon(we don't smog here in my town) Ditching the emissions is not my goal, i am just trying to find out what changes need to happen. Has anyone done this?
