I received my TRS Morimoto H11 HID kit today. I immediately jumped in to start playing with everything. i've been reading the instructions the last couple of days so i felt i was relatively prepared. I hooked everything up for the driver's side to ensure the system worked. However, the only way i can get the system to fire is to switch the polarity at the battery. To clarify, i have to take the cable from the relay labeled as +battery terminal and install it on the negative terminal and negative lead goes to positive terminal. again, i only tested the driver side as i didn't want to get too deep in case there was a problem. i double checked it with both ballasts and igniters. same results with all components. is the need to switch polarity common and or safe practice?
