No, most everything I did so far is stock. I do have a few performance mods on the truck and am adding a few more things like, a 7" Navi, CB, ECT.
I will list all the mods and upgrades with the next round of pics.

Update.....
The truck is at Toyo Doc here in Brooksville, they are Toyota specialists and that is all they work on.
I am having the truck checked out from one end to the other to find any issues or potential issues I may have.
The brake system is being redone along with some fuel line that looked rusty, the A/C needs a bit of addressing too.
We are waiting on parts from Toyota for the parking brake system right now, I hope to have the truck back by Wednesday so, I can finish reinstalling the interior.

The brakes are in BAD shape....Toyo Doc is rebuilding the rears and to save a little money, I will be doing the fronts my self.
They had to order pars from Toyota for the rears that are not available at parts stores.
Before I dropped it off with them I changed the gauge cluster over to a SR5 and Toyo Doc is putting in the oil sender to work with the factory gauge. They are having trouble finding a sending unit that works properly.
The truck checked out pretty good with only a few thing that will need to be addressed in the future.
Pinion seal leak
O ring at the distributor has a bit of seepage
Light oil seepage at the oil pan/timing cover
Recommended valve adjustment

Disc brakes are easy to work on. I hate doing drums.
Whats the difference in the SR5 gauge cluster?
Oil pan, timing cover leak,, valve adj.!!!
I hear a complete engine overhaul coming!!!!
Bore it, port it, and throw a turbo on it!!!! :lol:

LOL, I hope not
If the engine ever did crap out I would drop a 2.4L Turbo diesel in:guitar2: I would burn bio fuel from the Chinese take out so she would stink like Sweet & Sour pork going down the road:thumb3:
The SR5 cluster is the one with the tac and the cluster below is the standard.

See thats not a bad cluster. I like the look of it and the dials. Mine sucks. stupid 2nd gen cluster. Its good to have a tach!

The Green monster has sold, I sold the 94 SR5 today
The truck look so nice after the detail I was sad to see her go. The guy that bought her was blown away by how clean she was and how well kept. She has a new home now on the east cost of Florida:hatsoff:

Good work man. My buddy was trying to sell his WRX, he never cleans it ever! And a few people came to look at it and he had no takers, i told him that the car being dirty is a sign of poor maintenance.

My uncle has a 90 miata also. It is red with gold racing stripes. He worked as a mechanic for gm for years, but loves his miata. I keep trying to get him to mod it a bit but he wont.

yeah good job looks sweet. Still really like thaat colour.

The color is medium blue metallic (as stated in the original dealer brochure I have) it is the factory color for my truck.
Matt (who painted the truck) has not told me the color code as of yet so, I will ask my Toyota dealer and let you guys know.
I bought most of all the parts right from Toyota, all new chrome, bumper trim, plastic, even the new antenna came from Toyota. They still list and have most everything for the 1988 4Runner.
The new glass is PPG and all the “new to my truck” sheet metal came from a host of donor trucks found in junk yards.
I still need to replace one front marker light and polish all the lenses around the truck, do a little fine adjustment here and there on the doors and hood, and undercoat.
I also need to polish and clear coat the wheels to finish off the exterior.
I hope to be finished in a few more weeks then I will take some nice pics of the finished “for now” project
