Think I'll be installing a Uniden PC68 Elite this weekend. I've got a few ideas for mounting the radio.

I'm considering mounting it to the rear of the center console or seeing whats behind the console underneath the aux/12v jack and mounting it there. If I go the route of underneath the aux/12v jacks I may be removing the faceplate of the radio and extending the wiring to the radio located elsewhere.

For the Antenna I'm most likely going to get a PL-259 antenna mount and drilling a 1/2" hole into the ARB bar and mounting it there.

Modern CB Radios are so ugly. The Uiniden 880 (I believe) is one of the few that actually looks decent. at 4 watts of output though, I don't know what the use is, other than mass appeal. I think this is why I'll just go with a Cobra 75 - easily hidden.
