Purchasing 4runner tomorrow...

Tomorrow, I might be purchasing a 2000 4runner LTD with quite a few miles (140k). What are things to look for? Leaking coolant? Cracked radiator? Anything else major? Thanks!!!!

look for rust underneath, and see if it has a rear locker! (switch to the left of the steering wheel)

also make sure they have kept current on maintenance and that the timing assembly was replaced!

I just bought my first one 2 days ago. I was a color I liked, great condition and low miles. I was replacing an older pickup with low miles. I got a '99 with 84K on the clock, for Blue Book. No locker but it's the only one I found with a lot of the things I liked. Take a flashlight with you, crawl under the truck and check it out. Look for rust, leaks, or abuse. Under the hood should be clean and free of leaks, unless you want to do some work.
