Radiator/fan

Yea that’s definitely a nice feature for the electric fans. I always wondered about this fan Flex Fan - 5VZ Flex Fan w/Billet Spacer Kit

I think the bad thing about this fan is it gets rid of the fan clutch..

EngineMasters dyno tested a metal fan with no clutch, a metal fan with a clutch, and the flex fan you linked above. The metal fan with a clutch had the least amount of power loss when compared to no fan at all. The flex fan was also very flimsy and they made a point to show that on the episode.

LCE sells a lot of quality parts but they do have some gimmicks listed for sale. The flex fans as well as the throttle spacers for the EFI motors like ours are some of them.

I see that your post is from 4 years ago, so I hope you've found a solution to the temperature issue with your 4runner since then. Upgrading the radiator and switching to an electric fan are valid considerations to improve cooling performance. If you've already taken these steps, I hope your 4runner is running smoothly now. By the way, if you're ever in need of ceiling fans for your home, you can explore options to buy ceiling fans in bulk. They offer a variety of fans that can enhance ventilation and comfort in your living space.

yeah because a ceiling fan will work with a radiator. good job scammer!
