Radiator replacement— which hoses?

changed

New member
Found the slow leak in my ‘07 V6 radiator, looks like it is time to replace it.

Wondering which hoses specifically I should change? Hard for me to find info on the exact ones worth replacing when the radiator is out. And the thermostat— is it just the sensor I need, or do you order the full housing for our truck?

Thanks guys!

Personally, I replaced every hose I could. They do break down with age/wear and you're already draining the system to do a radiator swap. It'll never be easier than it is then.

Just the thermostat is fine unless your housing is cracked. It's maybe a 6" plastic tube so there's not much to go wrong + it's easy to swap if needed down the road.

Oil cooler, throttle body, radiator hoses. All OEM, including clamps. You'll thank me in another 18 years.
