CamelBak lists a rad for $324 as well which is a different part number (1640075181). But they also list the (16410AZ011) which is $120. The $113 radiator on TRDparts.com is the 16410AZ011 part number.

First post, though I have been lurking for a few months, but I just bought a Koyo to replace a leaking radiator a few minutes ago for $98 on eBay. By far the cheapest I have seen one. I didn't see a reason to test the cheaper variants at that price.

I bought the Toyota OEM Denso from Amazon for $146 or so. It looks legit- exactly like the one I took out with the exception of the nutserts instead of welded on nuts as was noted earlier in the thread. Would be very happy BUT it is broken. Making was an absolute joke. It pisses me off because I want to install it soon. Not sure if I should try them again or get something else.

I decided to bite the bullet and get the Denso 22100508 from RockAuto, which is the same radiator Toyota used to use when they got their supply from the Japan factory instead of the current Taiwan chain. The old Toyota part# is 16400-75180 (Japan) and the current part# is 16410-AZ011 (Taiwan)

I bought this OEM one, not inexpensive compared to some of the other 'deals' people have mentioned, but I'd prefer the OEM for some items.

Just get the Denso from Rockauto that I mentioned in this thread earlier. It’s the Japan OEM part # so cant go wrong.

I just picked up an OEM one @ TRDparts.com for $113. They said it wasn't in stock but they shipped it within 2 days. Well packaged too
My Koyo just started leaking, or at least I just noticed that it is leaking. After checking my Amazon order history I realized I have had it for 4.5 years so not a horrible product but could be better. The leaks are at the junction of the aluminum core and the plastic tanks. It appears to be more towards the ends. I decided to try and tighten up the junction by carefully compressing every aluminium tab with a Vise-Grip, the whole time being careful that the adjuster on the Vise-Grip didn't move in order to maintain consistent compression.
So far I have drove the vehicle about 20-25 miles and the radiator is bone-dry on the exterior, (knock on wood) unlike yesterday's test I performed to determine the leak location. Yesterday I rinsed off the radiator with water before driving the same route as today and noticed coolant on the exterior after the same 20-25 mile route. If anyone else has issues with their replacement radiator leaking it might be worth it to try to compress all of the tabs before buying another replacement.

Cold weather can make these seams leak too.
My rad leaks not a drop 9 months of the year but on mornings when the weather gets down to below -25 it will leak a lot from this seam until the engine warms up. Now that it is up to -10 overnight the leak is gone.
Waiting on a denso from rock auto at the moment to replace. We've had lots of cold this year.

You have it mixed up. This Denso is just a repackaged 16410-AZ011. I have it and it's made in Taiwan. It's been good for two years but it ain't the Japanese part that lasts 20.
Not a fan of buying anything from china, however, Taiwan is the gold standard of china quality. Some of the top mountain bike frames, knives, plenty of other stuff is made there. Again, I'm not promoting china, yet I'm curious as to the quality differences between our OEM rads and this oem replacement I purchased..

I have been running a KOYO that I purchased from EBAY in 2013. I have had zero issues with it maybe close to 40k or so on it now. No issues and no leaks.
