Radio Font Display Size

The radio text information is displayed in a very small size font. Can it be set to a larger size? "4Runner" is displayed in a very large font when the radio is turned on, one would think this is possible, but I have not been able to find out where the setting is made. Anybody know how?

...... and the red/orange text color is near impossible to read in daylight, especially with sunglasses.

Try turning on your DRL (Daytime Running Lights)...makes things brighter.
Hope that helps:driving:

Maybe for those standing in front of your 4R, not inside! It has been a common complaint about the std stereo, the small fonts and the inability to see the screen with polarized sunglasses. I think it was a game to see how small they could make the XM channel numbers in the corner.

I keep debating if I want to replace the h/u with a kenwood system with nav but I have yet to find a system that retains 100% of factory function via the wheel controls.

Did a search and did not find much. Anybody find an after market nav unit that retains all the stock controls to get rid of his orange display?
