Random but recurring clunk/thud...

I know this is easier said then done, but if you suspect your LCA bushings, have you tried prying around a bit and comparing the left and right LCAs to see the passenger side LCA bushings deflect significantly more? Keep in mind one of the bushings on the LCA deflect a whole lot even when brand new ( I could flex one of them with my bare hands
)

Oh okay, that's good news, changing out those LCA bushings will be a royal pain and then some. Do you think you can control this thump occurrence well enough that you can make it clunk right in front of someone standing outside?
If possible it's much more accurate to have a buddy standing outside as you pull up and make it clunk; this way your buddy can probably more accurately detect the general location if it. Being inside the cabin sucks since we all know how well noises echo and make it seem like from a whole 'nother area.
I know these pesky "phantom" noise are really annoying especially when you've checked every conceivable thing 2x already, lol. Hang in there!

Just an update.
Pulled the skid plates off and the issue still exists.
Greased the prop shafts a little more (specifically the slide yolk) as I originally only put in about 5-6 pumps from a mini grease gun. I added another 10 or so pumps. Based on the data from the link Harper7 provided it looks like folks were getting to 100 pumps before getting it full of grease and/or running into potential issues and I wanted to be cautious here but also eliminate this as the issue. Right now I feel the prop shafts have enough grease to work properly. I also lifted each end to extend the shafts and manually greased the external exposed portions, set the truck back down, jumped on the rear bumper to get everything to flex/expand/contract, and cleaned up around what was left. Also drove the truck erratically around the block - stoping hard/starting fast...
The issue is still there.
Next step - change the suspension. Waiting on a date for this right now as it won't happen until at least the first or second week of the new year.
I will pull the existing Radflo setup (4 corners) and send back to Radflo to recondition everything and fix the seal, stuck piston or ...? Get it back to normal and go from there.
Once I pull the Radflo setup I am going with the Icon 58747 (ET Remote Resi front) and 57710 (VS 2.5 Piggyback rear) setup - unless folks think they have a better setup in mind...lol.

Just got all the parts (including some StopTech front & rear rotors/ceramic pads). Demello did the install (great folks BTW - highly recommended)
Front are the Extended Travel Coliovers
Rear are the PiggyBack 2.5 series (last ones as they no longer do piggyback at Icon due to adding CDC as an option - they do remote resi as the alternative)
...and a nice pic of the front (see the drilled and slotted rotors - the best part is no more brake noise!!!!)
Basically the culprit was a stuck piston in the front coilovers. I spoke to Radflo and will be rebuilding all of these as backups.
The ride is great with the Icons...totally recommend it.

Both setups (Radflo & Icon) are a bit different. To Radflo's credit, it was a solid solution that behaved very well on road and off.
The key difference that I can feel is the Icons are more responsive to the conditions in the road, it's springy but not all over the place and also firm but not what i would consider harsh or teeth rattling. The Raflo in comparison could soak up big hits but was a little more all over the place - it gave the sensation of having a lot of movement/swing. The Icons don't give that feeling at all...granted I have only been driving on the Icon for a day now.

Noise drives me crazy as well. The brakes got resolved with the rotor/pad switch and the braking is much nicer/smoother now.
I now notice noise when making sharp turns (like into a driveway) - I greased the rear LCA's again but think the culprit is the skid plates flexing/shifting. Need to re-tighten everything and see.
Overall though...HUGE difference!

Speed up (don't need to go fast). Hit the brakes and ease into the stop. Once fully stopped everything would look to reset itself and hence the thunk/thud would reappear/resound. In the last few weeks the whole right front side of the truck would "pop" back up when I did the above process - it was if it was frozen in the position and then all of a sudden would just reset itself. It could take almost enough time that I tried to stop in my garage this way (you didn't need to go fast at all) and run around to the front right side to watch it reset.
Also, I just needed to hit a pothole or culvert and you would hear everything. Now I hear nothing going over the same spots.
