The output certainly looks bright, but I'm a bit confused by the wall pattern. I assume the upper photo is low beam, and the lower photo is high beam. I'd expect a bigger difference between the two, unless you're really close to the wall. So either the low beam is too high or the high beam is too low?
Either way, this looks fairly promising, I'll have to keep it in mind as a potential upgrade!

The wall output shots don’t look very different, but studying the real world output shots on the road, they don’t scatter light in the wrong places on low beams and high beams definitely have a lot more foreground and brighter hotspot as well as light up the trees. I think they look pretty good! I’ll definitely consider getting a set down the road!

I was only about 15 feet from the wall as it was a narrow parking lot. I tried to find a solid, light-colored wall for the shots.
The low beam is lower on the wall and the high beam is higher on the wall.
Pictures do not do these justice. Hard to capture their performance in a few photos.

Looks good for a drop in LED.
The wall pics make it look like it would still be throwing light into oncoming cars. Or- more importantly- cars in front of you. You should swap someone with a car- have them drive your 4Runner, and you drive in front of them in their car- at night. When I say "car", I'm referring to a stock height sedan. I know people call their 4Runners "cars" [emoji23]

Was doing some math while you posted this.
Guessed you were 16' from wall by parking space line.
Brick is layed mostly with 3-3 1/2" center, low beam looks to be 30" to top.
High 40" to top, 11 brick to 15 brick. Vehicle at 25' adjustment distance from wall should put low beam at the 24-25" I'd say adjustment is spot on.
The road hi/lo shots look good too, like em, better than what I have now, silver star.

I just received a pair of these this morning for my birthday, add me to the test pool. FWIW, I also had a pair of ebay led's crap out, and I never had one car flash me in 2 years of travel driving all over texas, nor did any of my other vehicle road trip buddies mention them being aggravating during that time.

Jet, glad to have someone else to chime in on these. One thing (if you have not already installed them) I put mine in with the cable in the downward position (on the bottom of the bulb). This seems to give the best light pattern. Looking forward to hearing about your experience with these!

So i bit. Found it interesting the shrouds won't go back over the rear ends of the LED lights and the instructions pretty much depict the shrouds being left off. Even though they say they're waterproof, I sure wish I could fit them on. Otherwise...
Will shoot a couple left side (sylvania silverstar halogen) and right side (new led bulb) for comparisons after dark.
Oh and the DRL feature (which i lazily never disabled) doesn't work with even one LED bulb installed, so that could be 'good' for many out there.
Of course it says not to stare at the light but i did for just a couple moments to see which parts of the LED bulb lights up with low beams and which lights up with high beams. Even during daylight the LED output is incredibly bright. similar in brigntness to a welding torch cutting with oxygen.
As the manufacturers description states the LED bulbs are designed very much like the standard or halogen bulbs. That is the LEDs are in the same locations, oriented to the same angles for both the low and high beams. As regular bulbs the forward portion of the LED bulb is what lights up during low beam and like halogens the rear portion lights up in addition to the front for high beam use. So I can see how they would work well in standard light housings using the standard reflectors built in. We'll see later....
Here are a couple pics of the overall package and close ups of one of the LED bulbs and one of my sylvania silverstars next to it for comparison. Both bulbs are oriented as they fit installed with the tops facing up for comparison. The shading is in the same place, under the forward portion of the bulbs and the high beam light is in the same place, rear end top portion.
Also the instructions of course are very general but I would expect they'd tell you what you might do with the 4 small o-rings. Thoughts?

Cowboy, congrats on getting these. I hope you are as pleased as I have been with them.
With respect to the dust covers, I did not put mine back on. I intend to but I think I am going to cut down one side and then zip tie them in place. I have two "spare" covers from a pull-yard so I will have a good set (uncut) in case these things fail.
I mentioned in a previous post that I put them in with the cable side pointing down. This was done the first time and the beam is perfect.
Please keep us posted on how these work for you! Hoping you got them from Amazon (and not Fleabay) as Amazon backs up the 2 year warranty.
With respect to the 4 o-rings, I received them too. I have no idea what they might be for other than maybe holding the cable (folding up) if that was necessary. I spent awhile trying to figure out where they went ..... if anywhere and never could find an answer....

I jumped on the wagon also. Had Amazon gift card so it makes it a $40.00 experiment. Thoughts on the dust boot are I'm leaving it off so as not to interfere with air flow around heat sink in any way. To keep dust/moisture out going to find a o-ring or rubber washer that fits the keyed flange, lock bulb in place seals it up TBD once I get my hands on them.
