Awhile back, I bought some 9003/H4 LED bulbs from Ebay. They were cheap and bright but no difference between hi beam and low beam. Used these in factory headlight assemblies and was somewhat happy until they failed. The Ebay seller never responded to the “5 year warranty” claim. (yes, I should have known better….)
I fell in love with the brighter light of the LED bulbs and bought these on Amazon. (Amazon, unlike Ebay – backs up any warranty claim directly – not the seller)

They cost $33.99 with a two-year warranty. I put them in and WOW! They behave like a halogen bulb with a REAL high beam and lo beam. They also have a controller/transistor in each unit.
They are unusual as they have a small, thin extension containing the LED modules. They fit perfect but a little difficult to put the dust cover on them. I have to say, I am really, really impressed with these. The light is bright, evenly patterned and the high beam is almost like a projector headlight. (Comparing to a friend's BMW with projector headlights) No scattered beam all over the place and this is in the factory housing.
Also, I have not had one single person flash me thinking I had high beams on!
I bought these as I did not want to spend some $60 on high end halogens to have them crap out in 8-12 months. These say they have a 30,000 hour life. If I just get 1/3rd of that life, it is worth every penny!
