When I ordered my 06 Limited 4x4 V-8, I knew I wanted the X-REAS, but I didn't know much about the Rear Air Suspension so I passed on that option. Since then, after reading a lot of posts on here about the Rear Air Suspension, I think I should have ordered it also.

Has anyone had the Rear Air Suspension added after their truck was built? Since I have X-REAS on my truck, I understand that rear air shocks could prevent X-REAS from doing it's job.

I know I can live without the Rear Air Suspension, but I sure would like to have it if possible. Any suggestions?

The OEM rear air would be too expensive to add on. There are several aftermarket systems that are just as good, for less.

Get both if you can.

I have Xreas and love it !! I think it work's good on road and off , even though it was designed for road use I guess,but it's there and will help in all situation's.

As far as rear air sus. I would love to have that too , not avail. on sport pkg. though.

When shopping make sure you get what you want , don't settle.

The OEM rear air would be too expensive to add on. There are several aftermarket systems that are just as good, for less.

I did a little research on the aftermarket systems and I found out that the OEM systems are the best, because they're engineered and designed specifically for your vehicle. To get an aftermarket system that comes close would cost several THOUSAND $. It is recommended to just add a helper system like the ones most of our members have put in for cheap.
