Rear Bilstein 5160 vs 5100?

Can anyone describe the on road ride difference between the regular 5100 and the remote reservoir 5160? These would be matched to the 6100 bilstein coilovers in the front. I know the remote reservoir will prevent shock fade over high speed washboard, but is the valving different also? Does one provide a better (less harsh) on road ride over the other or are they essentially the same?

The valving is different. I was just reading an in depth thread about it on here somewhere. The remote res is mostly just for off-road bling factor.

Uhm...yes, yes they do.

I skimmed through the thread below and don't see any comparative info on ride quality. If you know what the difference why don't you just say so??? I understand people get lazy and don't search, but why not help out...

I'm guessing there aren't many that have had both installed with enough seat time to really tell us so it's probably going to be more of a spec comparison?

Yes, I don't know about the ride 1st hand. Just trying to help the OP get to some info to help.
