Anyone here running the 9602HD coils from Toytec? Wondering if they would be an upgrade from OME 890s

Hey, did you ever get any info on these? I searched this thread per Devbot's reply but you're the only one to actually bring them up. I'm looking for closer to 3" lift loaded (4x swingout, Doc full skids, sliders, roof rack, drawer system, etc.). 891 seems to sag & 210v seems like a wee bit more lift than I want. If these springs are offering 3" @ 300lb constant, I'm in the market.

Ended up going with the 891s and am only getting about 1.5" lift in the back w all the weight listed above. Rides terribly. Am considering going 861 but am not sure which shock to pair with it? I currently have the Bilstein 24-100144

Extended 22.4"

I'm looking for approx 2.5-"3.5" in the rear. Could I pair these with the 861s? Been going in circles on all the forums and can't quite get my answer.

That's a Tundra shock, so you need adjusted (longer) bump stops. It will also be underdamped for a coil spring suspension (leafs have their own dampening, so shocks are lightly valved in leaf applications - even on the 'heavier' Tundra platform).

It also sounds like it could be a bushing issue... Bad bushings in the rear make the ride suck too.

Swap to the 4Runner application 5100 first, then replace the rear bushings or get upgraded links. If you are hitting bump stops, there are a few options there (Perry Parts, Duro Bumps, etc.)
