Hey i'm new here and have been driven insane by my rear defogger on my '92. It worked, and then we had some body work done on the rear passenger side quarter panel, and now the thing doesn't work. Fuse is ok. I thought maybe one of the body guys had unplugged it when they did the work, so i've been searching for the place where it plugs in. I'm going off memory of these kinds of defoggers and i seem to recall most of them have a wire that plugs in at one of the corners, so let me know if i'm wrong on that.. and then my chilton manual says nothing in the schematics about anything like it. The window goes up and down as it should (from the front console switch and the tailgate lock), locks as it should, the wiper goes and stops and lands back where it should..
I have to take it back next week to the body shop to fix a paint blob they left, and if i havent figured it out by then i'll ask them to either fix it or show me, but i'd like to know myself!
