Rear defrost and wiper inop

My rear defrost and rear wiper stopped working. The light on the defrost button won't even come on. I tried to find the fuse for those circuits but couldn't figure out which one it is. Does anybody know what fuse covers those?

First and foremost make sure the back window is rolled all the way up. Start by pressing the button down.......then push and hold it up. Then give it a shot again. Let us know.

The 4Runner will not let you operate the rear wiper nor rear defrost if that window isn't all the way up. If it doesn't work the first time go up and down in full twice then try to operate the wiper n defrost again.

Thanks guys that was it exactly. I made the window go downward bit and then back up and it was all gravy after that! Good to know about this little quirk.

Mine was not working on this beautiful rainy morning, read this thread, rolled it down & back up & now it works - thanks for the useful info!!
