Rear lift to match Icon CO's up front

So I am about to pull the trigger on some extended travel Icon CO's for the front and get LR UCA's. However, I have no clue what to get for the rear lift?

As of now, I am planning on getting the toytec superflex coils w/ bilstein extended travel shocks.

Thoughts? Opinions? Other options? I only want to do this once so i'm willing to spend some money to do it right.

I'm open to any feedback. but hurry! I want my lift! :hungry:

I used to run that setup, great setup as long as you aren't carrying too much weight. (Check my build to see what I mean by lots of weight.) Otherwise look at the OME 861.

I have extended travel fox shocks with TC upper arm and OME 906 Coils with Icon piggy back shocks in the back which are longer travel than stock. This setup gave me about 2.5" of lift and sits level front to back.

I have the Camburg 2.5 coilovers up front and ome 890's with the LC80 tokico black shocks in the back.

The problem I am having is that even with 3" of lift in the rear, the back cant keep up with the front. The coilovers in the front handle everything really smoothly when I start going fast but the rear starts bottoming out over the bigger stuff. I plan to get a set of king 2.5 8 or 10" shocks for the rear to see if that will help but if not, im not sure what my next setup will be.

Also as a note, Im not sure if im the only one who has had this problem but with the extended travel co's, I ended up snaping both of my sway bar end links after a day of running fairly hard. Im assuming that the extended travel was to much for them and they ended up breaking. Rather than fix them, I just removed the sway bar entirely.

The icon rear piggy back shocks are 2.5" in diameter and have a "bump zone" in the last couple inches of travel.

looks like the price went up since I bought them.

I did see those and I am thinking about them, but what coils would I use with them?

Just don't run a front sway bar

But really, the rear sway bar is enough and removing the front one will make it ride smoother since it will be truly independent with no cross talk. You could disconnect one side and test it for day.

I don't like having that rolling feeling and i have a habit to turn corners fast and manuever out of sticky situations on the freeway

See my other post for the springs I used. You're not going to notice the difference if you remove your front sway bar when you install the icon front coilovers. I ditched mine.

With the CO you don't need a front sway.

906. I'll look at them. I wonder if the superflex would suffice or the 861s?

I have the icons in the rear but remote reservoir instead of piggyback. If you add the adjustable CDC valves you can dial them in anyway you like. For the rear coil I have OME's. I love the way it handles and I have no sway bar in the rear.

Here is a pic of the rears. One thing you need to do when you mount them is to grind the corner off of the bump stop mount so it does not rub on the reservoir hose.
