rear spacer coil-compressor??

Thanks brock, idk if ur familiar with cornfed spacers or if all rear is the same but they do go on the bottum of the coil right?

It should go on the top. I'm not by a computer right now but ill check to be sure tonight. Most rear spacers sit on top of the coil.

If you disconnect the bottom end of the shocks it lets you lower the axle enough to slide them in.

Just realized I was on the 5th gen forum. This worked on my 4th gen and may not be true on a 5th gen but it should be the same.

You have to do the driver's side first. If you do the passenger side first, even at full axle extension, you cannot get the driver's side out or in without a spring compressor.

The only way you're going to do it without a spring compressor is if you disconnect the lower shock bolt on both rear shocks and disconnect the sway bar. You'll also need a pry bar or someone heavy to stand on the wheel while you're swapping them out.

I also have an SR5 but i thought the spacer went on the bottum for some reason, i did all the work on my front till it got to the point of actually compressing the spring and lut my spacer in i had to fake both front coils to tire shop and have them put on, i hoping i dont have to do thar with the rear

Your rear isn't a coilover, it is way easier. Post a pic of your spacer and I can tell you 100% on where it goes. I don't recall ever seeing a spacer go on the bottom.

Im ln my phone to i cant post a pic, but its shaped like the toytec and cornfed front spacers its really skinny at the bottum and flares real wide at the top. Except my baxk is way bigger around than front
