Rear wiper/defrost/mirror defrost ions

I have a 2021 Trail Edition. Over the weekend I tried to used my rear wiper and it didn't work. Tried the rear/mirror defrost and it didn't work either. Did some research today and found these are apparently on the same circuit. Also seems the rear window control is on this circuit. I had to make a quick trip today, and checked the rear widow raise/lower control, and it worked fine. After lowering/raising the rear window I checked the rear wiper, and it worked. Defrosters also worked.

My question is there something in the circuit that would prevent the wiper/defrosters from operating if the window was slightly lowered???

Any help/advice would be appreciated. TIA.

Yes. If the rear window is not all the way up the defrost or wiper won’t work. Kinda makes sense.

Yeah I agree. I probably had hit the window button briefly by mistake and lowered it just a tad bit. I hadn't had it down since October and didn't even think about it when the problem arose. Thanks for the input.
