Got in the truck this morning and being a very humid day it was covered in dew. Went to turn on the rear wiper so I could back out and nothing. No intermittent, no washer fluid, litterally nothing. Before I go back to the dealer and start complaining I wanted to check with everyone and make sure I'm not missing something. I'm not sure why there would be any reason to disable the rear wiper, but you never know.

Make sure your rear window is fully closed.
This. Been there, done that with my '03.

Comes from the same reservoir(they call it the "washer jar"in the manual) as the front but has it's own rear pump.

As an aside, I've read somewhere that no one should use straight tap water in the wiper reservoir or dilute washer fluid. Apparently, regular water can stagnate and collect mould, then when you spray the glass the mouldy water releases spores that get sucked into the cabin if the fan is running.
Maybe this is folklore, but sounds like common sense. I would never dilute anyway because of our climate, but I also seem to get a better clean with proper fluid and a regularly Rain-Xed glass.

I agree. I like that it hides up in the back visor deal, but would it have killed their design to at least have it rotate past 90 degrees? Like possibly keep going until it has cleaned any part of the other half of the window....
But then again I don't do too much watching behind me anyway.
