Removed the flares and side moldings

I bought my 99 limited a few months ago... It had just over 200k miles and started doing some maintenance on it, belts, brakes and ball joints.

One thing I don't really like was the stock femder flares, I after replacing my pads and rotors the other day, I removed all the plastics.

Man it looks so much better too me lol

I welded up all the holes and used some filler where it was needed. And I wasn't going to painte everything, the paint looks good and with me planning on wheeling this thing, I plan on spraying bedliner on the entire body, maybe lol.


After getting the body straight I taped off where the factory moldings would be and used upol raptors bed liner, I bought the tintable and also bought a quart of single stage paint to tint it. I couldn't be happier with the results.

This pic is right after I got finished. I still need to finish cleaning it off, and also it needs a coat of sealant.

If you are talking about the clips for the moulding on back edge of the rear door, i lost a set so i used to clips pre side then drilled through the door lip into the moulding and used 3 screws on each.

Looks good. I'm too worried about rock chips on the leading edge of the fender, combined with our salty roads.

Damn that looks so much better. I hate my flares and especially the body moldings on the bottom of the doors... I dont know how to weld though, really need to get on that

I need these all the green spots most importantly the front and back ones. The middle ones are easy to come by.
