Since I have had my ABS disconnected for a long time and I plan on leaving it that way, I want to remove my ABS actuator/pump to make some room under the hood. Since the 5 lines come together at that one location, I figure I would just use 2 fittings to accomplish this. A 3-way tee for the front brakes, and union/coupler to connect to the rear brakes. Just connect the fittings and bend the lines out of the way. Easy enough right?
The problem is after about 2 hours of searching I cannot seem to find the proper fittings anywhere. I have been able to determine that they are inverted double flare 3/16" tube with a 10mm x 1.0 thread. If anyone can point me to a link or a part number for the proper tee/coupler fittings for this size it would be greatly appreciated.
Also, does anyone know if I will need a proportioning valve for the rear after removing the abs unit? I wasn't sure if the abs unit has some built-in proportioning that will be missing. Maybe the master cylinder will be fine on its own?
