Hey gents and ladies,
I'm trying to see if one of the connectors that have a wire that I need to tap into which is behind the a-pillar on the drivers side. There is an airbag, yes I know, and the special clips are there to ensure the plastic pillar doesn't fly into your face in case the air bag inflates in a side impact crash. However, is there anyway to remove the a-pillar without breaking the special clips? Any tips or tricks? I have the Repair Manual it says the clips should not be reused because you're supposed to cut the clips! I'd rather not. I'm sure I can find the right wire someplace else but the a-pilar location is close and easy (if the panel can be removed).
