btw this might be a bit late but just an FYI, i saw you mentioned your icons only have 10k miles on them. If they are under a year old, they might be covered under warranty. In which all you would of need to do is send them into Icon and they will do the rebuild for you.

Even out of warranty, i think they charge $125, and being that your in Cali shipping would be on the cheaper end.

Ya once I got it disassembled I saw that the shock oil was still relatively clean and the seals were good.

I just felt uncomfortable not rebuilding both. The other one was sent to icon for a warranty rebuild.

Icon takes two weeks to rebuild. So next time I rebuild both I just have to find a reliable shop to get the spring is off.

Icon is in Riverside. I called a few places and they said they couldn't do it. They almost seemed confused.

Check out this link to several SOCAL shops.....I've been to Outlaw Offroad in Santa Ana and DMZ Fab in Corona. I HIGHLY recommend DMZ if you can get out there.
