Replaced Spark Plugs on 2008 V6

Replaced my OE spark plugs today with six Denso Platinum TT plugs. I have to say it took me no more than 45min to replace all six of them. Compared to my last vehicle a 1999 Ford Explorer which took me I think close to three hours, all I know it was light when I started and dark when i finished when I replaced the spark plugs on that car just before I sold it.

Anyone else running Denso Platinum TT plugs on their 4Runner, how do you like them?

I had them on my 1GR and they were ok im now running ikh20.

Quick question do the OE run better than the TT Platinums?
The iKH20 and the three default NGKs is what i had before.

The standard plugs that are denzo are K20HR-U11. IKH20 are the iridium's, so far I am more pleased with my iridium's than with the twin tip.

Since the Denso plugs are $2.63 each on Rock Auto I use them.

Iridium or Platinum or just plain copper all perform the same....There is no performance difference. Platinum will last longer the copper and Iridium will last longer then platinum. That's it...They just last longer.

Basically true in the 4th gen 4Runners. This isn't the case for all cars though. My wife's Jeep runs like crap on Iridium's. After putting them in I noticed this and looked around on some Jeep forums and it's apparently common with at least her engine type. I didn't really look at the other Jeep engines to see if they had the same problem. I put the cheap copper ones back in and no problems since.

If the vehicle wasn't designed to use Iridiums then I wouldn't put them in. Were the Iridium plugs of the same manufacturer as the OEM plugs (Mopar). If not that might have more to do with the truck not running correctly then the Iridium.
