replacing trim panels

Hi, I need to know how to replace the rear trim panels on my 5th gen (someone ripped one of them off!). Are there any guides anywhere? I have ordered the parts from my dealer but have no clue how to put it together or how to paint it.

p.s. I've removed all of the clips except for the one orange one (see pictures).

edit: I'm now looking to find parts/diagram like the dealer has so that when I take this back to the bodyshop I can say, part x, part y, were missing/broken.

Unfortunately your picture isn't showing and you have not indicated what model 4Runner you have (the TE trim is different from the SR5/LE).

However, if it's the fender flare trim you are referring to, the rear works similarly to the front. I have a write up with pictures in my build thread showing the process. They basically snap into place (make sure your clips are the correct kind for the location) and there is some 3M tape along the top edge.

I did have my parts professionally painted.

Okki

The repair manual would be super useful to look at, however it looks like those links to RM.zip are broken. Any chance you could reshare them please?

Confused did someone steal it or did someone hit your truck?

Someone hit it, a body shop repaired it, and then one panel came off - the other is lose. Perhaps they did bad work, because the 3m tape that was mentioned wasn't put back on. Is there a site somewhere that has diagrams of these parts so that I can see the parts #'s for these specific trim panels, tape, fasteners, etc.?
