Researching for a 2015 Trail - Questions

Need to pick up a car/truck for work and want to buy a 2015 Trail instead of taking the company leased ride. Will need to stay mostly stock while using it for work, but figure I can convert it to a trail rig when it's paid off and I move on to another company car.

Have some questions and was hoping you guys could give me some feedback...
- Does A-Trac work in 4H or only in 4L?
- Does Multi-Terrain Select work in 4H? And is this part of A-Trac? Do you flip on A-Trac and then adjust to match the terrain?
- What problems have you had with your 4runner?
- I see lifts out there - like the options from Toytec - but wonder if you've had any problems after your lift. Any weird alignment problems, or hard topping out with a 2-3" lift?
- Is there anything that you don't like about your 4runner or about how something works - interior, exterior, suspension, motor, etc?

I don't own a trail edition, so can't give you detailed answers on multi mode...

Just my opinion, but most most of the features on the trail edition besides the rear locker and KDSS are sort of a gimmick. I never hear anyone mention using them.

Trails and SR5s don't have a center diff. That is only available on 4wd limiteds.

Atrac only works in 4l, its very useful and works very good. It is available on all 4wd models.

Lifts are fine, no major issues. They often require new Upper control arms to get caster high enough to maintain stable hwy manners.

Overall, great trucks, but are somewhat lacking power, especially after larger tires and armor. Mpg is not very good. Not great for towing. Motor and transmission are very outdated, but are very reliable.

I would probably buy another one.

Multi-terrain select partially functions in 4H by only allowing mud-dirt-sand selection. The other three modes are 4L only and the select display will advise you to shift the T-case if needed. This is independent of a-trac and is not used simultaneously with a-trac.
