revised wiring diagram for Hellas

...after much research, I have come up with a diagram that I believe is to be correct for wiring Hella 500's with the 3rd Gen Switch and the 4th Gen Switch. Please review and let me know if this diagram is correct or needs some adjustments.
thanks!

ETA...apparently I had the relay connections backwards...see revised chart...I also added the diagram when using the Hella switch.

thanks man...thats what I'm going with then. Any chance you know which wire you tap into on the parking light wires? seems there are a couple of tiny wires coming out of the light. Did you use Hella's switch?

I think it was the white wire with a black stripe running through it. Sorry it's a bit hard to get in there because after I did the wiring I wrapped the fog light wiring in a black wiring loom. Then I also have the HID wiring going through the same channel so it's a bit of a bundle :)

I used this OEM Toyota switch that I ordered from partznet for about $12: http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/4Runner/tech/switch/
Follow the instructions on the site for wiring and it works perfectly.

Let me know if I can help some more

thanks! you've been a big help! I guess I do have one more question, what kind of tester do I need too see which parking light wire is the one to use? I used a wiring loom as well...looks damn nice!

my bro showed me how to use his multimeter. It gave near a 12v rating when the parking light was turned on so I knew that was the "hot" wire and the other wire was just the ground. Sorry, not much of an electronics expert here :)

yeah i disconnected the negative. your radio will probably get reset and maybe your auto up/down driver window, or sunroof, or rear window. All very easy to fix and has been discussed on the forums.

FYI...upon testing the connector pulled off the parking lamp, its the green wire that is hot.

lights are done! see revised diagram for details. I added that the green wire from the parking light is the one to connect to, and you need to tap into the diff switch use 1 for illumination, not 2. If you are using quick splices, be sure to get ones that are small enough b/c the parking light wire and the diff switch wires are very tiny compared to the wire you will be splicing in...I actually had to crimp the metal part of the splicer in order for it to work. so, if you have any questions, please ask! and thanks to everyone who helpled on this project. FYI...after disconnecting the battery, you will need to "normalize" the rear window, rear door, auto down drivers window and moonroof.
