Rims with big tires without spacers...

Hey fellas,

So as far as I can see, when people go stock height/ 2-3" lift, and want some big ol tires that stick out for a wide stance, most people put spacers on.

Does anybody have rims, without using spacers, that stick out for the wide stance look, but also to help with rubbing?
If you do, list what your a rollin on (rims specs, tire specs, suspension specs) as well as a picture to show how far the tires stick out from the wheel well.

Anyone?

Right now it doesn't have the info I am looking for. But as mentioned, when it is complete, it looks like it will be well worthy of a stickie and flashing lights

I dont know if it is exactly what you are looking for, but i'm running Icon Extended Travel up front with Ultra Gauntlets in 18" with 0 offset and DuraTrack 295/65/18. With proper alignment and some trimming of the fender lining no rubbing and they stick out good amount. Picture does not do justice:

I don't know if you consider this a wider stance or not, but its SIGNIFICANTLY more aggressive than the stock LE stance. I am not running spacers at all. I my wheels are 18x9 with a -12 offset. It doesn't go much past the fenders, but its certainly a more aggressive fitment.

Sticking out past the wheel well.....Just be aware that when actually offroading and stuffing a rear wheel with that aggressive/wide stance of wheels and tires that you will hit the rear fender and ruin your tires. Ask me how I know!The wheel has to clear to the inside of the fender.

This is stuffed with a 8 inch wide/4.1 bs wheel and a 305/65/17(33") with it barely clearing and use your imagination if it was sticking out another inch or so. I stepped up to a bigger tire 305/70/17(34") and hit the fender lip and ripped some lugs off the tires and have to use bumpstop extensions to limit the up travel now . Let's see some offroad pics of these peeps with wheels sticking out past the wheel wells when stuffed .

Mine look like that Harper. I am at the absolute limit of clearance when my fronts are stuffed, and if I am turning they rub. The rears are ok. I do not plan on going any larger.

Thanks for the info, it's good to know. So do you prefer bump stop extension or a narrower wheel stance?

I agree with Harper for sure that wide stance tires can be damage. Here is mine stuffed, but I have 3" bump stop that prevents my damages.

Yeah, definitely too much poke will be bad news for your fenders if you wheel it. You can safely have them stick out a little as they'll angle in when stuffed, but otherwise they'll self-clearance.

285/70/17s, 8.5" wide wheel with 4.3" bs, and 1.25" Spidertrax spacers at full stuff and you can see it just angles in enough to avoid the fender.
