Following with my Stage 1 plan of building a solid platform, the first actual mod will be Sound Deadening. I followed [MENTION=5602]Rock Slide[/MENTION]'s build for where to buy materials. In his build, he also opted for new carpet padding. I chose to reuse the stock padding as it was still fine.

If you had to do it again would you use the same sound deadening or is there a similar product that works better for the same price?

I really like the new stance it looks much more balanced. How much weight over stock do you think you are in the rear with the bumper, spare, and cargo?

Well the CBI hybrid swingout is 130lbs. The stock bumper was probably around 20-30 lbs. The difference in weight of the spare tires between stock and 35" is probably about 50 lbs, and I carry maybe 20-40 lbs of gear normally (more when going wheeling). So total round up to about 200lbs extra weight. The 890s are meant for up to 300 lbs extra weight before they sag beyond an acceptable level.

If I find myself start to carry more weight, I will probably switch over to 891s.

Well damn I've been trying to figure out which rear spring to use to get me level-ish with a rear cargo box/sleeping platform and only a 1.5-2" lift up front, running 265/17's. I finally settled on the 890, but if you're level with 315's and 890's, there's way that would work for me. It would be too tall. Guess I'll have to go back to the drawing board.

Btw... any progress on the fuse block tray-thingys? =)

For what its worth, I have only maybe 2.5" of front suspension lift based on where I have the coilovers set. Also don't forget I have a 1" body lift all around.

The fuse platforms will be ready next week probably.

Looks good being lower, although I liked it with rake too. But big tires and lower lift is never a bad thing.

I was primarily searching for a spring rate I liked. I am not very picky on my lift height. That being said, I much prefer this level stance!

Had a question, when you sprayed your engine down. anything you recommend as protection. is there anything you covered in the engine? i would like to spray mine down and clean it up a bit but worried i would damage something. Hey Jim, I noticed that you don't have the power converter on this diagram, and although you did say that this was the diagram for just the fuse box, I also didn't see the connection on your battery from the photos. Did you route the converter through your fuse box? Or am I just not seeing it on the battery terminal in the photos?

I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row so I can do all of my wiring at once. I just ordered a fuse panel from you, and was planning on running the panel exactly as you have yours, but with a power converter.

I just removed the inverter because it failed and almost caught the truck on fire. You can still reference the old diagram if you plan to install one though.

Oh Crap! ....was that just the model you bought, or did it have to do with the location or something else? I planned on getting a good sine wave inverter so I can run my laptop safely, and was gonna run it back to my cargo box.

It was a really old coleman inverter. I would not be concerned with a modern unit from a reputable brand.

Parts/Cost:
$84.28: (5) Rolls of 4"roofing mat (McMaster-Carr 9640T1)- I actually bought 7 rolls, and only ended up using 4. I say 5 if you plan to do the doors. They also sell 6" rolls, but I found 4" was better for the tight areas.
