Moab this year was very successful. I was able to run a total of 5 trails.
-Strike Ravine
-Fins and Things
-Hell's Revenge
-7 Mile Rim
-Top of the World

I was incredibly impressed with the performance of my truck, despite the hideous bumper gap. The I-70 pass was pretty brutal with stock gears though.

I also had a chance to meet lots of fellow forum members. It was a great time!

One day I'll make it out there. How long was the drive for you? Driving over 1000 miles, wheeling the toughest terrain I've ever been in, and then driving 1000 miles back home terrifies me lol...

Also, weird seeing [MENTION=129084]Flemster[/MENTION]'s 4Runner without the clarity adjustment maxed out =p

Curtsey of my girlfriend on this trip, she's getting pretty good I think.

It was 19 hours to Denver and 5 1/2 to moab from there. Then 6 hours to Albuquerque, flew back to ohio from there. I'm leaving it there at my folks place in prep for my impending move out of this awful state.

Total distance was about 2100 miles.

You could say I put it all off until the last minute, which would also be accurate. Poor life choices.

Maybe if I got to that stuff sooner I could have had time to fix the gap.

I wish I'd had cell coverage at BFE so we could have coordinated a little better. "2.0" is looking awesome with all the new goodies, and I'm glad to see it finally putting in some work.

When you get to CO you need to look into the Addicted Jamboree. I think you'd really enjoy that event.

Alright, enough with the introductions. My plan for this project is going to be overland/camping/roadtrip focused. It seems to help to think of it in phases, although those lines may be blurred over time.
The main difference is that this time, I will have the budget to do things right.

On the Jambo, that is the exact weekend I was planning the big move. I will see if I can move my schedule around. Are you planning to attend?

Absolutely will be there. This will be my 3rd year in a row and I've come to really enjoy it. Every year that I've gone seems to have a little better turnout, and the variety of rigs that you'll see there is awesome, not to mention the trails.
