also, i ordered whitelines. i'm not sure if this is something i want to do myself but i'm quoted $600 by my local shop for install. :\

I switched to Flickr, over the last week I have managed to replace half of my photos.. so many more to go its a long process. Photobucket can suck a big one, I hate them.

Lower arm bushings are the worst to replace, but not $600 bad. I would do it yourself and look at Flemster's thread. He did whiteline bushings too.

Wow. I recently switched to Flickr too, but I wasn't about to try to go back and switch all my photos. That's dedication. Flickr runs so much better. It's amazing.

On the hosting comments I wanted to chime in as well - I have been using photobucket for over a decade but started removing my stuff from there a few years back because of the damn ads. I wish google photos had support for direct linking, that would make life so much easier. Is flickr a 100% free hosting solution and easy enough to use? I just started throwing my 4R stuff on photocrapit again since I needed something...

Well it was such a smooth movement that I didn't realize I was going over until it was too late. I thought the front was climbing something (again the lack of the decent spotter really sealed the deal there)

Free yes.. "easy to use" is debatable. The album structure is not intuitive at all so it takes so time to get used to.

Yeah I know, they want me to subscribe for $500/year to unlock my photos, who the hell would pay that? They aren't that special. Just going to take a long ass time to swap out all my linked photos. I have fixed about half of this thread so far.

No trail rig here, I just need to calm down about with the wheeling. The issue is that trails in California are hot, dusty and not very scenic. So if they aren't challenging then what's the point? I am going to have to make a longer drive up to the sierras to do my wheeling where its actually a nice place to be outside.

Time will tell I suppose, but I wouldn't say desert running is something that really interests me at this point. The engineering behind it definitely does though, hence why I am here

One of these days once the weather cools down quite a bit, we gotta go out to Ocotillo Wells and Truck Haven area. Some awesome desert fun out there. My favorite place to go off-roading for sure. They have everything from high speed desert, to low speed rock crawling (without the rock part), tight desert canyons, the obstacle course, and all kinds of fun destination runs. It might change the way you feel about desert running. The Sierras are absolutely beautiful though, especially this time of year when everything else is miserable.

Desert wheeling is just different than being in the pines of CO. If you get the opportunity, come on out to AZ. We've got tons of awesome trails surrounding the metro Phoenix area, and just a short 2 hour drive will get you up into the pines of Flagstaff!

Jim is pretty familiar with desert wheelin being from New Mexico... getting over to AZ myself is in the plans though, yall have some gorgeous scenery to see.

Lot's of stuff to do on the East Side of the Sierra. We even have some technical stuff. The scenery can't be beat. Not many places in the US can you go from the desert floor at 4000' to over 11'000 feet in a few miles. A little further north just outside South Lake there's this up and coming trail called the Rubicon. I here it's technical. Let me know if your heading up this way. I'd be happy to give you some beta if you need it.

FINALLY fixed all of my pictures (in this thread at least)

I also got a few little mods done recently.
-Sonoran Steel Washer fluid bottle relocation
-Hayden transmission cooler
-aFe Pro Dry air filter installed


What/Why:

The Sonoran Steel washer fluid bottle relocation kit is necessary if you plan to run 35" tires. I regularly ripped out the washer fluid pumps from the OEM tank when flexing..

Parts/Cost:
$85: Sonoran Steel washer fluid bottle relocation kit (LINK HERE)

Tools:
10mm socket to remove the old tank and loosen the airbox mounts

Time:
30 mins tops

Procedure:
The sonoran Steel directions are pretty solid, but here are the steps shown on my truck.

Why SPC? Gross. After watching their arm break off at the welds first hand, I can't advise them. They are the photo bucket of upper control arms. If you want a sealed unit, just get the new Icon Delta Joint's. They'd probably press right in to your current (All Pro?) Arms.

That's the first I have ever hear of problems with SPC arms. I got the SPC because I wanted the adjustability, a sealed ball joint, and I like the bushings they use.

I've beat mine up pretty hard over the last year and there still in one piece. Don't sweat it. I just had my rig in for an alignment the other day. Moved the caster forward and now have zero rubbing in the rear well. I do hit that damn washer box though. So I just ordered up the Sonora kit you linked, Thanks man

Before I bought mine, I came across that same thing and yes, they did redesign them since then. And one person had them installed upside down. Since then they've been rock solid from all the reviews I went through. Any issues were user error due to lack of grease or somethings lime that.
