RL's New 4Runner

I think it has only been four months since I ordered the 4Runner. Anyway, Toyota told the dealer last Wednesday that it would be into port on February 15th. Then the next day we found that it was being prepped for delivery to Dallas.

The clear paint protection for the front of the hood should be in next week. The Nifty floor mats should be in by the end of the week. A bit of Zaino is on the hood; now it is ready for the clear bra.

Does anyone have a good insert for the cup holder to better hold my coffee mug, which is sized for the soda can size cup holders? I think I saw one at Pep Boys.

Mounting the ball on the supplied hitch required grinding the hole sleeve. I took the assembly to a hitch company to give it the proper torque for the 6000-pound ball.

Sure am glad to have it in my garage!!

The cup holder is movable -- the center piece can go left or right to accommodate other size cups. See if that works for you.

Works with the paper Starbucks cups. My stainless mug is too wide for the narrow setting. I am going to look at the insert at Pep Boys tomorrow. I will take a photo and let all know if it does the trick for the Taco Bell, etal large size togo cups with the small bottom and wide tops.

200 Mile Report

No rattles, no vibrations, everything fits well, I can not find a single flaw in how the 4Runner was put together. A beautiful start to what I hope will be a long term affair.

After reading about other's issues, I had some concerns. Sure am happy that all is well.

Expect some good photos from me soon.
